“I’ve asked the four of you to participate in my finally reoccurring and hopefully soon to be famous again kitchen exhibitions. So a short introduction about the idea behind these get togethers. I often find myself in a space in time and in my practice where I would like to experiment or open the doors to outsiders to have a little peak inside my head. Before I've often hosted performance evenings in my room or expo's in my kitchen. I think the kitchen is a perfect space for experimenting, since it's the space we cook in, talk, get together, share tears, laughs, heavy discussions and where our thoughts have the space to ferment. The idea of the kitchen expo is thus to tempt each and every one of you to try something new, show new work, do an experiment or something all together different, in a safe space for exploration outside of the realms of the stiff white gallery space. Especially this last concept in important to the kitchen expo since the space will remain exactly how it is, a slightly messy student house kitchen. Remember this is a space for artists by artists.”
